Apothecary Accents Framelits Die

I created these simple cards using World Spectacular DSP and the You're Amazing stamp set (birthday card) and Parker's Patterns DSP (father's day) along with
Naturals Ivory and Very Vanilla and Early Espresso cardstocks.
You can see how the Apothecary Accent diecut really makes a nice accent on both cards!
I had created a bunch of these diecuts for graduation cards, and just stamped in a different sentiment.

So what are you waiting for???  Zoom over to my Online Store right away to snatch up these great Weekly Deals before they're gone!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Here's to a Bright Future . . . Graduate!

Happy Monday, stampers!  This is a busy week for me, as my hubby and I are lay delegates to the District Conference for our church denomination.  I am super excited to see a LOT of dear friends and be a part of something larger than just myself.  So I will not be online for a few days - be sure to check my Online Store on Tuesday for the next lineup of Weekly DEALS!

I have another grad card for you today.  I used this card to announce my sons' college grad party - but I also made some with just a sentiment inside for an individual graduate.  Hope you like it!  Be sure to leave a comment if you have any questions or feedback!

The label was stamped with a retired label border stamp and diecut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits die.

The cardstock base was cut 4-1/4" x 11" and then I double scored so the top flap overlapped the narrow bottom flap.  I played with the fold on regular paper until I got it just the way I wanted it.

The background behind the images was created by inking up a clear block and stamping with just that!

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Hello Doily: Wedding-Inspired Card

Hello, stampers!  Last fall I shared with you a wedding invitation I created.  I then prepared this post to show you how I translated the invitation idea into a birthday card - and totally forgot to really post it for you!

Here's another peek at the invitation . . .

. . . and here's the birthday card I created!

I really liked how it turned out - and made several for various occasions, just changing up the sentiment on the front.

Valentine LOVE, Post 1-4

Wow, Valentine's Day is coming up right quick!  Have you made any Valentine cards yet?  Here are a couple quick ideas to get you started. I'll post more in the coming days.

I totally CASEd this card by Catherine Pooler - so simple, but so striking!  And it was a good way to use up some of my retired Designer Series Paper!

I raised the DSP and the heart cutout with Dimensionals:

Here is the dimension from another angle:

I wanted to design a card for ladies to give to their men, and I wanted to use my new Banners framelits dies.  I came up with this card, using the anchor as a symbol of what my own husband is in my life!

I curled the banner tips with my finger and thumb, and punched holes in the accent label to thread the taffeta ribbon through.  The label sponge-inked along the edges and is mounted using Dimensionals.

Hello Doily: Wedding Invitations

I hope you enjoyed seeing Kylie's wedding Save the Date cards!  We used her initial ideas to design the wedding invitation - love how it turned out!

The 'labels' were printed out first on Naturals Ivory - spaced out to leave room for the Apothecary Accents die to cut each one - then I ran each one through the Big Shot using that die to perfectly cut out each label!  I used a hole punch to make a place for the ribbon to be threaded through, and paper pierced the edges of every label.

All the printing was done in Early Espresso - you can adjust the font color in Word by giving it the correct RGB code for the color you want.  Just search online for "Stampin' Up! RGB codes" and you'll see what I mean!  Perfect font and print color to perfectly match the cardstock!!

Voile!  Awesome invitations suitable for a queen . . . Queen Kylie!

Thank you notes for Kylie . . .
