Critter Week: Moose Herd

One more critter for you today - a moose!  I created this card (designed by Josie McGaw) at a DOstamperSTARS demonstrator shoebox swap meeting.  Isn't is amazing what you can do with punches and a little imagination?!  Here's my guy:

His antlers fold down to fit in the envelope! And I added his pupils and nostrils with a black marker.

Here's a photo to show you the punch pieces I used:

I made a whole herd of these ~ special order from a friend at work for her sister who ADORES moose!

Critter Week: Moo Cows - Got Milk?

Today's critter is a friendly moo cow ~ and she comes bearing gifts!  Flavored milk straws are in the package, topped off with a friendly cow face.  This is totally Dawn Olchefske's idea - you can see the Video and Instructions for this sweet cow on DOstamping With Dawn.

I made a bunch of these cute critters just in time for my holiday boutiques - and sold every last one of them!

You can usually find these straws in the grocery aisle  near the milk.  What a cute way to get kids - young and old - to drink their milk!

Critter Week: Meek Sheep for Ewe!

Punch art is such a fun way to create all kinds of creatures. This week, I want to share 3 of my favorite punch art critters.  The first one is this sweet sheep, meek and mild and oh so cuddly!  This card was created by fellow-demonstrator Melissa Stone - and I know I'm going to be making a lot more of these!

Here's a close-up of the punch detail - several 1/2" circle punches and a bit of free-hand cutting.

Groom's Dinner Favors, comin' up!

Here are some pics of the favors I made for all the Groom's Dinner guests - about 50! It was fun and easy to do.  The only thing I'd do differently is fill them at the last minute!  I put Gummi Bears and Dots in them - and the sticky candy left little 'wet' spots here and there on the pillow boxes!  But not too badly.  I printed the names on white cardstock - the names were in columns and spaced out enough to allow room to punch them.  Be sure to leave a comment if you have any questions!
