Good morning and welcome to Saturday Morning Cartoons Videos!  Do you have photos you really should get in an album and document for your family to enjoy the memories?  Then you'd LOVE Project Life by Stampin' Up!  Project Life helps busy people (so basically all of us) document life using photos and journaling in a quick, simple, and fabulous way. Stampin' Up! has partnered with Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life, to offer a complete line of elite products.

Becky explains, "It's called Project LIFE because it's about YOUR LIFE. Whatever your life is. Whatever your stage of life. Whatever your family circumstances. Whatever your lifestyle. Project Life is designed to help anyone and everyone get their pictures into a book."  In a nutshell, it's all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.  Take a peek!

Happy Congratulations, Graduate!

Happy Thursday, stampers!  Do you have graduates in your family?  I do, and I've been busy making grad cards for them and for others.  Here is another one of my creations - a fun Joy Fold card!

Can you see from this angle how the smaller card on the right folds into the larger base card on the left?

You can used just about any dimensions for a Joy Fold card as long as you have a small card and a large card that fold together.

I made the card in both a gray version and a black version.

The cute Japanese lanterns use the 2-Step Stamping technique:  The outline is stamped first, then the circular lantern stamp is used in various colors to 'color in' the lantern outlines.  Fun and kinda artsy!

I made this card, designed by Sue Schmidt, at a stamping get-together with friends.  The Full Heart punch was used to punch through the top layer to reveal the pretty foil layer below.  Fun and easy again!

Go Change the World, GRAD!!

Graduation season is upon us - I have a niece and a cousin graduating this coming weekend.  They are such fine young ladies - Mylie and Simone - and I'm so proud of them.  But where have the years gone to?!

This is the card I sent to the girls - and also made a lot more on commission for one of the profs at the college where I work, to give to his department grads.  It could easily be adapted to any stamps you have, graduation or otherwise!

Isn't this a fun fold?!  The Basic Gray cardstock was cut to 4-1/4" x 11", then scored at 4-1/4" and 8-1/2".  Center the 2-1/2" Circle Punch over the top score line and punch.  The accent is made with the Circles Framelits, and attached with Dimensionals.  The Finishing Touches Edgelits die was used to cut the purple 'pinked' zigzag trim. Super fun and easy card.
